---------
From the age of 9 until the age of about 15, I feel like music
was the most fun. I would go into chat rooms and form bonds
with people that I had a few bands (and nothing else) in common
with. I fell in love with ska and disco during this time too --
and those are arguably two of the most fun genres to listen to.
The title of this mix is a reflection on how I used to feel about
musical tastes. I used to think that the only music with any heart or soul
was the music I listened to. Everything else was just for fortune
and fame. As I've gotten older my perspective has changed,
but this is neither the time nor the place for that. This mix is simply
to reflect on the awesome music that was the mid-late 90's and early 2000's.
Think I like too many poseur bands?
